Happy Early Birthday, Dustin!

Today, we celebrated Dustin's 33rd birthday early in Yakima.

Larry & Janet (Dustin's parents) surprised Dustin with a birthday cake when all of the family was together.

Dustin just thought we were all getting together for a movie & some lunch. He was so surprised!

Josiah, of course, loves celebrating & had to help Dustin blow out his candles.

Here is the Lee family hanging out together. We always have a good time.

After the cake, the boys headed to the living room for a wrestling match...at Josiah's request.

Happy Early Birthday, Dustin!

Christmas Day 2009!

Christmas morning is here! We were all excited to share in the joy of remembering our Savior's birth.

We started the morning by reading the Christmas story from Josiah's new Bible that he received for his birthday.

Thank you God for sending your son Jesus to the Earth to save us all!!!

As a way to honor the birth of Jesus & to keep the Christmas craziness down, Josiah receives 3 Christmas gifts (not including stocking stuffers) just like Jesus did from the wisemen.

Gift #1 was a "Wall-E" game for his Leapster.

Gift #2 was a "Fridge Words" game.

Gift #3 was a tub of dinosaurs.

He was super excited about this gift.

Then it was time for stocking stuffers.

He really enjoyed getting these little toys.

Thank you, Daddy!

Thank you, Mommy!

Here are his stocking stuffers.

Here are his 3 gifts.

He played with his dinosaurs for the rest of the day. Cute!

Then, Dustin & I exchanged 1 gift with each other this year. I gave him "Star Trek."

He gave me "The Notebook."

We knew what the other was getting us, so that's the reason for the fake excitement. Ha!

Josiah wanted to make one of those funny faces, too. So, he did it while eating his Chips-A-Hoy!

We hope that you all took a few minutes out to remember the real meaning of Christmas as well. We had a wonderful Christmas Day 2009!

Christmas Eve with the Lee family!

It's Christmas Eve & we are with the Lee family in Yakima, WA.

The three of us are so thankful to be together more this Christmas than ever before.

We are also thankful that Papa & Meme (Larry & Janet) welcomed us for Christmas. Christmas Eve at the Lee house is the night everyone comes over, has dinner, dessert & opens presents.

Once we were dressed for the night, Josiah & I were SOOO excited about it. We sat on the couch looking at the Christmas tree & wanting to open those presents.

Todd, Shelly, Justin & Cody came to the house to join in the festivities.

Josiah loves Justin & Cody. He says they are his buddies.

We had a nice dinner together talking & catching up with each other.

It was fun to get together & laugh.

My two guys are so precious in this picture.

Then it was time for presents. Josiah LOVES opening presents.

We all took turns opening.

Here's Josiah going through his stocking from Papa & Meme.

Here's Justin & Nan not wanting their picture taken. HA!

Josiah couldn't wait to start playing with his toys.

Here is the stash of gifts Josiah got from the Lee family this Christmas.

Josiah loved going through his stocking from Papa & Meme.

Dustin & I are so thankful to have such wonderful families both on the West Coast & the East Coast. We pray all of our families have a blessed & Merry Christmas.

We had a great Christmas Eve with the Lee family!!

More Birthday Presents!

We arrived in Yakima, WA for Christmas & were welcomed with birthday presents!

Josiah was so excited that his birthday wasn't over & he had presents to open.

Look at those sweet dimples!!!

Papa & Meme gave Josiah these 2 Tag books & a Leapster game. He's spoiled!

As soon as he opened the presents, he immediately went to reading his new Tag books & Leapster game.

Later, Todd, Shelly, Justin & Cody brought birthday gifts for Josiah.

As you can tell, he really liked getting more gifts.

They gave him a G.I. Joe action figure & a huge Mater puzzle.

Thanks Lee family for giving Josiah more birthday presents!!!

Merry Christmas!

May the love of Jesus Christ be in your hearts & home this year!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!
