At the Park with Dad!

Today Dustin took Josiah to work with him for a little while this afternoon & then they went to the park together.

They began their park time by working on a Ranger Kids Achievement for church.  They looked around the park for animals & listened for animal sounds.  They then made a list of all the animals they saw or heard.  They came up with quite a list & even finished his work on the Noah's Ark Achievement.

They then took a little time to play!  What a fun day at the park with Dad!

Ethan is Nineteen Weeks Old!

Today Ethan is Nineteen Weeks Old!

Nursery!

Tonight was Ethan's first night in the church nursery.  Pastor Randy was so happy he was finally joining.  He was a little traumatized at first, but then quickly came around & stayed the entire time.  We were so proud of him.  He was happy when Mommy finally came to pick him up, though.  Overall, it was a great night in the nursery!

Dad is Home!

We are happy people tonight!  Dustin has returned from the Bahamas!

Josiah was especially happy for two reasons.  First, he really missed his Dad.  Second, he got some cool stuff all the way from the Bahamas!

Mom & Ethan got stuff, too.  We are all SOOO happy that Dad is home!

Bahamas!

Dustin had the amazing opportunity to take some of our High School Seniors on a cruise to the Bahamas!  This was Dustin's first cruise, so he was excited!  The whole family was supposed to go, but we didn't realize Ethan was two months too young.  :(

The boat they were on was the Carnival Fantasy.

Here was the amazing group of students & chaperones that agreed to go.

Dustin said the boat was beautiful & big!

Dustin enjoyed just standing & looking out into the deep ocean at the beautiful water.  He said it was very inspiring & awesome to look at another part of God's creation.  It also made him very wind blown.

Dustin really enjoyed the FOOD...Sunsets...

Comedy Club & the Tiny bedroom & beds. (just kidding)

They visited Nassau & spent the day shopping & hanging on the beach.

They also visited Freeport & spent the day on the beach.

I think the most special moments of Dustin's trip were spent alone with God & His creation!  What a wonderful time Dustin & the group had in the Bahamas!

Ethan's Happy Place!

Ethan has a happy place!  It is in the swing.  No matter what kind of mood he is in, if he has ear infections, teething, etc. it doesn't matter.  HE LOVES TO SWING!  This swing is definitely Ethan's happy place!

Soccer Week 6! SCORE! SCORE! SCORE!

Today was Josiah's Sixth Week of Soccer!  It was a little different today because Dustin was in the Bahamas.  So, it was just me & the boys this morning.

That didn't stop Josiah this morning, because he made not one...not two...but three goals today!  His first was right off the bat.  He just made his way through the crowd & kicked it right in.  This was his 5th goal of the season!

Soon after that, they started mid-field & Josiah kicked the ball FROM MID-FIELD & made it with ONE KICK!  It was unbelievable.  The ball just rolled right between the players legs & no one could get it.  One kick made goal #6 of the season!

At the very end of the game, the whistle was about to be blown & Josiah made the final goal of the game which tied the game 3-3.  WOW!  He was so proud of himself that not only did he make three goals today, but he kept his team from losing.

This was his 8th goal of the season.  He was so proud!  SCORE!  SCORE!  SCORE!

Bye Dad!

Dustin left early in the AM to take the High School seniors on a trip to the Bahamas!  We knew we'd miss him, but we didn't know we'd miss him this much.

When I got the boys out of bed this morning, I asked them if they wanted to send Daddy & goodbye picture on his phone.  I promise, as soon as I asked, these were the poses they gave me.  It's like they both wanted to give their Dad a hug!  Precious!

School's Out Bash!

Tonight was Floodline's School's Out Bash!

My guys went early to the party & had some fun before it even started.  Josiah even fell in the pool before I got there with his swimsuit.  I guess he was just too eager!

Everyone was in a happy mood & seemed to be having fun!

New Toy!

Today Ethan got a new toy!

Dustin & I bought Ethan an Exersaucer before he was born, but he wasn't big enough to use it.  Today he is!  He seemed to love this toy from the very start.

After a few minutes of starring at the toy, he began figuring it out & playing with all the different stuff.  Ethan has a cool new toy!
