Happy Birthday, Ben!

Ethan's best buddy, Ben, had his 4th birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese today.

Our boys had so much fun playing all the games &

driving all the cool cars...even with Chuck E.Cheese.

Ben had a "Big Hero 6" cookie cake for his birthday, so our boys loved that.

Ben even loved the "Miles from Tomorrowland" toys & pajamas we gave him.

We love Ben & were so excited to celebrate his big day with him.

Pastor Appreciation Dinner!

Tonight was Pastor Appreciation Dinner at the park.

Josiah loves that his buddies Luke & Aaron are also pastor's kids.  They had a great time playing together at the splash pad & playground.

We had a nice dinner together with all the pastors & their families from the church.  They even gave us gifts & gift buckets for the boys.  We all loved our special treats & our time at the Pastor Appreciation Dinner.

Future Ninja Warriors!

These boys are so excited that American Ninja Warrior is back on TV.  Thanks, Uncle Chris, for the awesome t-shirts that say: "Future Ninja Warrior!"

Fun in the Sun!

It was a beautiful day today, so Dustin moved our water table to our deck.  The boys were so excited!  They put their swimsuits on & had some fun in the sun!

Last Day of School!

Congratulations 4th Graders!

Congratulations to Jackson, Jaden, Anand & Josiah for finishing 3rd Grade!

We had Josiah's favorite guys over to party after their last half day of school.  We had pizza on the deck in the beautiful sunshine for lunch.  Even Ethan needed to eat at his table outside.

We played foursquare in the garage, cornhole, jumped on the trampoline,

played soccer, football, street hawk & rode toys on wheels.

They even played a game of baseball in the back yard.

While they were playing baseball, Ethan asked to go back to the garage to play tennis.

After everyone was hot & tired, we came back to the deck for ice cream sundaes.  Yum!

The guys then spent the last hour playing video games on Josiah's Wii U.

What a fun day to hangout & celebrate the last day of school!

Jam Session!

Daddy & Ethan had a jam session this morning.  Dustin normally plays his guitar & Ethan drums, but today, Ethan wanted to switch places & play his guitar.

Last Day of 3rd Grade!

Today is Josiah's last day of 3rd Grade!

(Yes, I'm going to be one of those moms who talks about how time is flying too fast...)

I can't believe how fast time has flown by since he was born.  It seems like yesterday I was walking him into school for the first time.  Soon he'll be a 4th grader.  Unbelievable.

Josiah, we are so proud of the way you've worked so hard this year.  This was by far the hardest year & the heaviest workload yet.  You handled it all with grace & still made it through the school year with all A's for the year on your report card & on your TCAP testing.  We are so proud of you!  Congratulations on finishing your last day of 3rd Grade!

Floodline End of the School Year Party!

Tonight was Floodline's End of the School Year Pool Party!

We are no longer their youth pastors, but we still hosted the party at our neighborhood pool for them.  It was a great way to end our 4 years with these guys!

Awards Day!

Awards Day was today at Josiah's school.

We received a letter last week stating that he would be receiving an award.

When they called his name, we were so excited!!!

Josiah received the "Bookworm Award."  We're so proud of him for the way he loves to read.

I'm so thankful that our family was able to be there to celebrate our sweet boy,

When Josiah returned to class, they gave out classroom awards as well.  His teacher, Mrs. Ellis, gave him the "Eager Reader Award."  Again, we're thrilled at his love for reading.

3rd Grade End of the Year Party!

Today was Josiah's 3rd Grade End of the Year Party at school.

He has had such a great year with his teacher, Mrs. Ellis & classmates.

The day was so much fun.  They played all kinds of fun outdoor games together.

Most of the games were summer themed & even had water balloons.

On the left are Josiah's closest friends Anand, Jackson & Jaden,

On the right is Josiah's girlfriend, Cameron.

The day ended just as it should...with a water balloon fight.  They loved this moment.
