Date Night!

Tonight was the first full Date Night that Dustin & I have had in quite a while!

We began our fun by going to the movies to see "Now You See Me."  This was a great movie full of mystery & magic!  This picture was of the two of us sitting alone in the theater!

After the movie we went to "The Cheesecake Factory" for dinner.  This is one of our favorite restaurants, which just opened up a couple of miles from our house.

We sat on the patio for a lovely dinner outside.  Our meals were both scrumptious!

After dinner we made our cheesecake selections.

I had Chocolate Mousse Cheesecake & Dustin had Peanut Butter Fudge Ripple Cheesecake.

While we were having dessert, our sitter, Linnae, texted us this picture of our boys.  Melt my heart!  We soon after came home to love on them!  What a great date night!

Ethan loves Gracie!

Today was our Floodline Leadership Team meeting.  All of the kids stay in the teen cafe with sitters while the adults meet & talk in the teen sanctuary.  Ethan usually goes in the teen cafe, but doesn't usually want anyone to pick him up.

Today was a different story.  I was told that Ethan let Gracie hold him almost the entire time.  They even played a little basketball together.  Ethan seems to really love Gracie!

Zack's Birthday Party!

Today was Zack White's 8th birthday party!  Zack is one of Josiah's closest friends from school.  They were in the same Kindergarten & First Grade classes together.

Zack is the one in the middle in the grey shirt.  Zack's birthday party was at Laser Quest.  All the kids & parents got to play Laser Tag.  We had the best time.  Out of 27 kids, Josiah placed #11 the first time & #3 the second time.  He was thrilled with his scores.

After two rounds of laser tag, Zack's parents served lunch & cake.  Yummy!

Our morning started off with Coffee Cake, Fried Eggs, Bacon & Fruit!  Josiah served Dustin breakfast while Ethan decided to sleep in a little later than normal.

Then, once Ethan woke up, Daddy got some kisses from him, too!

After breakfast we all went to church together.  We all had new shirts to wear to church today & it is so cute how it all worked out.  Dustin & Ethan had the exact same color shirt.  Then, Josiah & I had the exact same color shirt.  It wasn't planned that way, but once I realized it was happening, we all decided to wear our khakis to complete the blue family ensemble!

The picture on the right is during the music portion of service.  Every Sunday we bring Ethan inside the adult sanctuary for this part of the service before heading to the nursery.  He loves music & especially worship music.  Every time he hears a moving worship song at home or at church, he lifts his hands & sways.  It is the sweetest thing!

After church we headed to Wasabi for some Japanese deliciousness!

The boys were both blinded by the light of the chef lighting the grill on fire.

Ethan was shocked at the amount of fire & smoke this guy was making.  He kept making the funniest faces.  If you can't see his face in the above picture, click on the picture.  Funny!

The entire time the guy cooked our meal, Ethan barely moved, but just kept staring.

Once we got home we each gave Dustin our cards.  I gave him one.  Then, Josiah gave him a special love letter he asked to write for him.  He wanted it mounted on special green paper.

Then, he bought him a Batman card.  Batman is one of his favorites right now.

Ethan bought Dustin a Mickey Mouse card, which is his favorite.

We are also giving him money for him to go buy some new jeans.

Once Ethan went down for a nap, Josiah & I went into the kitchen to bake a cake.  I forgot to take a picture of the Triple Chocolate Cake, with powdered sugar on top, before I started cutting into it.  Oh well!  We enjoyed this yummy treat after dinner & golf in the living room!

Priceless!

I am just loving pool time with my boys!  I especially love it on the weekends when Dustin is home to go with us.  Then I have all my men there with me!

These two little ones are practically best friends.  They love one another so much & love to play with one another.  Josiah has a huge adult pool to swim in & even friends from school to play with, but he mostly wants to be wherever his little brother is playing with him.

Priceless!

Pool Time!

Today was such a gorgeous day that I took the boys to the neighborhood pool!

These boys love the water.  It's a great pool, too, because they have a huge pool for older kids & adults, but also a 1 ft. baby pool for little Ethan.

We had so much fun together & can't wait for many more days of Pool Time!

Bedtime Routine!

I absolutely love our bedtime routine with our boys.  We are starting Ethan off the same way we've always done Josiah's routine.  The last thing we do is read the Bible & pray before bed.  Ethan's routine, however, includes a few extra items, though.  He gets to hold his "Lambie" (Maam-E as Ethan says) & immediately his thumb goes into his mouth.  He'll sit like this every night while reading the Bible.  So sweet!
