Last Day of Winterfest!

Sunday morning is the last service of Winterfest weekend.

Today, he took Josiah with him to enjoy the services.

Josiah even volunteered to help usher.  He passed out water bottles to all of the ushers & even helped take up the offering during the service.

Josiah was so excited the Planetshakers were leading in worship this morning.  He even got to meet the Planetshakers band backstage...the perks of being a leader's kid.

Reggie Dabbs was the Sunday morning speaker.  Josiah also got to meet him backstage.

After the service was over, Dustin took Josiah to get some Gelato.  They enjoyed talking about the service & what God is doing.  They might have even had time to be silly, too.  Hahaha!

Dustin & Josiah were gone by the time we got up this morning, so we decided to send a good morning picture today.  "Good morning, Daddy & Josiah.  Enjoy the last day of Winterfest!"

2nd Night of Winterfest!

Tonight was the 2nd night of Winterfest 2015!

Dustin had the great joy of running into two of our former students.  Haden & Megan were in our children's ministry when we were youth & children's pastors in Hephzibah, GA years ago.  They are now youth leaders that brought students to Winterfest, just as we did.

Winterfest 2015!

Tonight was the first night of Winterfest 2015 in Knoxville, TN.

We have students from our youth ministry volunteer to serve as ushers at Winterfest every year.  It is a great opportunity for them to serve & they get a free ticket to the services.  Dustin heads up this team every year.

It has been so cool to watch Winterfest grow & change over the years.

God has done great things in us & our teens at Winterfest.

Since Daddy was serving at Winterfest, these two guys didn't get to say goodnight to him.  So, we usually send Daddy a goodnight picture every night in their pajamas!  "We miss you, Daddy.  Hope you're having fun at Winterfest 2015!"

Chattanooga with the Sagraves!

We were invited to help the Sagraves enjoy their 10th anniversary weekend in Chattanooga.  They invited us to come down to spend all day Saturday with them.

We began our adventure at Sticky Fingers for lunch.

We then all headed to the Creative Discovery Museum to play.

This was extra special for me because I used take my Kindergarten class to the Creative Discovery Museum every year.  Now I get to take my own children!

Ethan's favorite part was the water area.  He didn't want to leave & got soaking wet.

Josiah enjoyed all of the experiments.  He likes trying new things.

These guys pretended to zoom around town & Ben even picked up a hitch hiker.  Haha!

There is always time to play with Legos.

Ethan started a band...

& the other guys joined in.  It soon became a family band!

We all enjoyed playing on the roof in the bubbles & other toys.

By nap time, Ethan was beat & refused to smile anymore.  I love this picture!!

After a long afternoon of play, we all went back to Brad & Kerri's hotel room to freshen up & change clothes for dinner at our very favorite restaurant.

Tony's.  Ahhhh.  Need I say more?!?!

Yes...Tony's is one of mine & Dustin's favorite restaurants.  We used to go to Tony's on date nights when we lived in Cleveland, TN.  We took Josiah once for our last dinner before we moved to Seattle.  Now it was time to introduce Ethan.

After dinner, we took a walk on the Walking Bridge.  The weather was perfect all day & it was a gorgeous night for a walk.  The kids really enjoyed it!

Thanks so much to the Sagraves family for including us on your special weekend.  We couldn't ask for better friends for us & for our kids.  We love you all so much & are so thankful God put us together!  Thanks for a fun day.

On the drive back to Knoxville, this is how we all felt.  Tired!

Haircuts!

I took Ethan to get a haircut today & he had the best time.

He loves Ms. Margarite & sits there like a pro.

He did so great that she allowed him to get the car he was playing with from their toy basket.  They usually don't give their toys away, but he got to keep this one today.  He was so happy & hasn't stopped playing with it since.  Ethan loves getting haircuts!

The Sagraves Crew!

We had the pleasure of watching all three of the Sagraves children today while their parents went to a Marriage Conference for the day.

We all had such a good time & these babies couldn't have been sweeter.

We all loved having a little baby around the house today.  It gave us all our baby fix without having another one.  Hahaha!  Josiah loves baby Caleb & made him smile a lot.  We are so glad Brad & Kerri were able to get away & we are so glad we had fun with the Sagraves crew!
