Wednesday Nights!

Wednesday nights are our biggest night of the week as youth pastors. Every Wednesday, we have youth service in our teen center. Dustin speaks & challenges our students with the Word of God.

Before & after service, we get to spend time getting to know our teens better.

We have such a wonderful group of teens & youth leaders. We feel very blessed to enjoy them on Wednesday nights!

Movies at the Mall!

Josiah & I have a summer tradition. Every Wednesday we go to the kid's $1 movie at the movie theater. This is such a fun way to spend time with your child, out of the heat & it is super cheap. They play different G & PG movies every week & you can choose the one you want to go to. We always have such a great time.

After the movie, we decided to walk around our new mall. Josiah loves this mall because it has a train. We rode the train all around & had a great time!

Floodline Cookout!

Today, we had a cookout at our house for our High School Youth Group...Floodline.

It was nice to finally have our teens & youth leaders over to get to know them better.

We had all kinds of games for everyone to play. We had badminton, volleyball,

ladder ball, horseshoes, croquet, Frisbee,

toys for the boys,

sidewalk chalk (see the word Floodline) &

they even broke out some board games to play inside. We even served all kinds of yummy cookout food. I think the fresh watermelon was the biggest hit. Here are Josiah & Jacob waiting for their food for lunch. They have become the greatest friends.

We all ate in the kitchen, dining room & even the garage. It was so much fun getting to know everyone & have a blast together. What a fun Floodline Cookout!

Josiah's BIG RED Scavenger Hunt!

Today was a very special day. We thought it would be fun to have a night just about Josiah. So, we sent Josiah on a "BIG RED Scavenger Hunt." Everything on this hunt had to do with the color red.

He sat down & read his instructions all by himself. These instructions explained that there would be three family activities that night, but he had to solve the clues that told him where the activity cards were, which showed him where we were going.

Those instructions led him to Clue #1. Clue #1 led him to his bedroom to look inside his red t-shirt. Inside his t-shirt was a card for Activity #1. We were going to see the movie "Cars 2." Josiah was thrilled. After all, it was opening day of the movie. When we got to the movie, Josiah chose a box of M&M's & popcorn for his treat.

We all three had such a great time at the movie. It was super good & Josiah is ready to see it again! After the movie, we walked out to the van & in his seat was Clue #2!

This clue led him to a red towel in the back of the van. Inside the red towel was Activity card #2 which told him we were eating dinner at "Red Robin."

This is probably Josiah's favorite restaurant. We ate, played & had a great time!

When we returned to the van, Clue #3 was in his seat. This clue led him to a red bag that was hidden in the van. Inside the bag was Activity card #3. It stated that he could go to Target & pick out any 4 die cast cars from the movie "Cars 2" that he wanted to.

This kid was elated! He knew which 4 cars he wanted immediately. When we returned to the van, there was a message from me & Dustin. The card told Josiah what a wonderful time we had with him that night & how much we love him. It also stated that we'd be reading "Cars" in bed that night for bedtime. What a perfect way to end Josiah's BIG RED Scavenger Hunt!

Baby Visit #2!

Today, the whole family went to visit the doctor's office & see the baby for the 2nd time. There isn't much to see in this picture, but we were all very excited to see this sweetheart. The baby is measuring beautifully & the heartbeat is very strong. We can't wait to meet you!

Happy Father's Day 2011!

Happy Father's Day, Dustin! Josiah was very excited to start his day today by giving Dad his Father's Day card!

Josiah always has to pick a card that sings. This one said that Dustin was "Bad to the Bone!" I think he got more of a kick out of giving it than Dustin did out of receiving it.

We had a wonderful breakfast together & then went to church.

After church, Dustin chose to go to Wasabi for lunch. Man...this place is so delicious!!! We always enjoy watching the guy cook right in front of us.

We ran into some friends of ours from our old church in Cleveland. They were even seated right beside us. They were so kind to take this family picture.

After some play time & naps, we had movie night with chocolate cake. YUM! Josiah & I patiently waited while Dustin took the first bite. That's hard for chocoholics!

We had such a wonderful time celebrating Father's Day with Dustin. Josiah loves his Dad & thinks he is so amazing! We are so blessed to have him in our lives. We also had the pleasure of celebrating my Dad last weekend when they came for a visit.

Happy Father's Day!

Guess What!?!?

Guess What!?!?

Dustin, Josiah & I are THRILLED to announce that we are expecting a baby!

I visited the doctor today to find out that I am pregnant & due around January 25th. You can't see much in that ultrasound picture, but there is a little tiny baby between the lines above the letters CRL.

We cannot tell you just how excited we are. Josiah is especially over the moon!

Please help us pray for this sweet little angel to develop fully & properly. Thanks!

Lee Family Slumberfest!

Last night was the very first "Lee Family Slumberfest!"

Josiah has been BEGGING us to let him have a family slumber party for months!

We've been so exhausted with moving across the country & starting a new life, that we didn't have the energy to even think about it until now. So, Josiah got to buy a brand new sleeping bag (Buzz Lightyear) just for the occasion.

He also got to pick the menu. For dinner we had pizza, salad & fruit. For dessert we had popcorn, ice cream & Oreo cookies. We were all three loving this!

We watched three full movies & Josiah hadn't even blinked an eye as though he was tired. It was finally 2am that we had to say, "OK...get comfortable, because we're all going to get some sleep now." Josiah was hoping we'd let him stay up all night, but I don't think Dustin & I could handle that. Ha!

This morning, Josiah woke up all bright eyed & bushy tailed ready to play some more. I don't know where he gets the energy from.

For breakfast, Josiah wanted frozen French Toast Sticks, Waffles & Fruit. We ate breakfast while watching Saturday morning cartoons. For a kid...it's doesn't get any better. We had such a great time at the Lee Family Slumberfest!
