Merry Christmas Eve!

Merry Christmas Eve!
Since our family has grown & the amount of gifts have grown, our family has been dividing all of the Christmas gifts up into several days.  On Christmas Adam, we open any presents from friends or extended family.  On Christmas Eve, the grandparents & Uncle Chris give the boys their gifts.  Also, Dustin & I exchange with Chris.  On Christmas Day we give the boys their gifts from us & we exchange with Dad & Mom.  It works out nicely.

The boys were super excited about opening lots of presents today!!

Josiah definitely racked up in the electronics department.  He got a brand new Wii U gaming system & a lot of games & accessories to go along with it.

Ethan got a train table from Uncle Chris!

Ethan got a Jeep Power Wheels electronic toy from Granddaddy & Grandma!

These are Josiah's presents from Uncle Chris!

Then it was our turn to exchange with Chris.  We gave Chris shirts of his favorite sports teams.  Chris gave us a joint gift of a year of Netflix movies!

Chris also gave Dustin lots of really nice shirts to wear at church.

Chris took me on a shopping spree over Thanksgiving & bought me 16 pieces of clothing!  Wow!  I am super blessed & am going to look awesome!

After a fun afternoon of presents, we went to Outback for our traditional Christmas Eve dinner.

After dinner & some family Wii time, we opened the cards from Papa & Meme.  They sent each of the boys cute cards to play with.  They also sent all four of us a check for us to spend in any way we choose.  WOW!  More blessings!

After showers, the boys got on their new pajamas & hopped into Josiah's bed to read the Biblical Christmas Story before going to sleep.

Every year Dustin reads up to the part where the wise men come.  He reads that part on Christmas morning.  It's been a wonderful day of celebrating with another tomorrow.
Merry Christmas Eve!

Merry Christmas Adam!

It's the day before Christmas Eve (ha...that's why we call it Adam) & we are so happy to have some family here to celebrate with us.

The boys are thrilled that Granddaddy & Grandma are here.

They're really excited to see Chris.  It's been too long since we've seen him.
We spent the day opening gifts from extended family, like Uncle Scott & Aunt Luann.  Chris also gave us new family calendars for 2015.  We love those!

We had a great day playing with new toys & playing on Uncle Chris' phone.  We also had a nice dinner at Olive Garden & yummy dessert at home.  Merry Christmas Adam!

Granddaddy, Grandma & Chris are here!

Let's the good times roll! Granddaddy, Grandma & Chris arrived today to begin the Christmas celebration.  We are so happy they're coming to us again.

They even came with early gifts.  The boys both got their annual nutcrackers.  They love getting these every year to add to their collection.

Dustin also got an early Christmas present because it has to be kept cold.  He got the famous cheddar cheese from The Angus Barn.  The best cheese in all the world!  Dustin was quite excited, just as we are that Granddaddy, Grandma & Chris are here!

3rd Grade Christmas Party!

Today was Josiah's 3rd Grade Christmas Party!
I am so glad I was able to go & help the class.

Josiah did such a great job on his crafts.  He made 3 ornaments, snow, painted a winter scene & played dreidel...which gave him chocolate.  He also had gingerbread cookies for snack.

Josiah & his friends (& Mom) had a great time at the 3rd Grade Christmas Party!

Crazy/Cool Sock Day!

Today was Crazy Sock Day for 3rd Grade's Spirit Week!

Josiah chose to wear his Dad's Seahawks socks.  So, our family changed the name from Crazy Sock Day to Cool Sock Day!  Ha!  Josiah was so excited to wear these.  He had a great day celebrating 3rd Grade Crazy/Cool Sock Day!

Floodline Christmas Party!

Tonight was our annual Floodline High School Christmas Party!
The theme this year was "Let's Make a Deal."  This is an old (& new) TV show where contestants dress up in homemade costumes, hoping to get picked to play games & win prizes.

Dustin & I dressed up as Seahawks fans (12th Man).
Ethan & Josiah dressed up as Ninjas.

The night went great & so many students showed up in costumes.

Even Brad & Kerri came by to see our awesome costumes.

At the beginning of the game show, Dustin & I were asked to come down front.

We had no idea this was going to happen.  We were asked to play the first game.

At the end of the game, we were given a Christmas gift from Floodline.  They gave us a gift card to Olive Garden & a gift card to Regal Cinemas.  This group is so thoughtful!

Then, the game resumed.  They had door #1, #2 & #3 & boxes 1, 2 & 3 just like the show.

The students really seemed to be having fun.

By the end of the night, students won a Playstation 3, a digital camera, an iPod Shuffle, cereal, gum, gift cards, etc. all donated by members of our church & community.

The party was a total success!  Yahoo!  We love the Floodline Christmas Party!
