Lazy Day in NC!

We decided to have a lazy day in NC today.

We stayed in our PJ's all day & just chilled.

This afternoon, we went outside & played in Granddaddy & Grandma's yard.

They loved playing in their woods...jumping in leaves & playing with sticks.

We had quite a few sword fights, too.  Fun!  What a great lazy day in NC!

Pullen Park!

Today, we went to visit a childhood favorite...Pullen Park.

I grew up coming to this park to play & even had birthday parties here.

Here is our family on the train!!!

This is Ethan's first time on this train.  It's been several years since Josiah has been on it.

We absolutely loved riding it!

Ethan's favorite ride was the boats.

He enjoyed riding around in circles, driving his boat & ringing the bells.

The Carousel was under renovations the time we brought Josiah, so both boys got to enjoy the carousel for the first time together.

Josiah rode on a pig both times.  Ethan rode on a bunny the 1st time & an ostrich the 2nd time.

My crazy older guys had a little too much fun on the carousel.

The playground area at Pullen Park has also been renovated.  It was so cool!

Ethan's favorite part of the playground was playing in the sand.

We played in the sand several times.

Josiah loved that they had stuff for even the older kids to play on.

We not only loved spending the day at the park, but we loved that we got to enjoy it with Granddaddy & Grandma.  These boys love their grandparents & had a blast with them today.

What a perfect way to spend our first full day in NC.  We had fun at Pullen Park!

Spring Break Fun in NC!

We left today to spend the week with my family in NC while Josiah is on Spring Break.

The boys were welcomed with presents upon our arrival.  My parents haven't been able to give Ethan his birthday presents yet, so he opened them today.

They gave him a set of drums.  They are so cool & he loves them.

They even gave Josiah big brother birthday presents.

He was happy to be spoiled, too.

Ethan loved getting presents for his belated birthday.

These boys are so happy to have new toys & are ready for some Spring Break fun in NC!

Last Day of Winterfest!

Sunday morning is the last service of Winterfest weekend.

Today, he took Josiah with him to enjoy the services.

Josiah even volunteered to help usher.  He passed out water bottles to all of the ushers & even helped take up the offering during the service.

Josiah was so excited the Planetshakers were leading in worship this morning.  He even got to meet the Planetshakers band backstage...the perks of being a leader's kid.

Reggie Dabbs was the Sunday morning speaker.  Josiah also got to meet him backstage.

After the service was over, Dustin took Josiah to get some Gelato.  They enjoyed talking about the service & what God is doing.  They might have even had time to be silly, too.  Hahaha!

Dustin & Josiah were gone by the time we got up this morning, so we decided to send a good morning picture today.  "Good morning, Daddy & Josiah.  Enjoy the last day of Winterfest!"
