Vacation Day Two!

The boys woke up in the cabin this morning to a nice surprise.  Uncle Chris is here!  Chris' flight landed late in the night after the boys had gone to bed.  They were so happy to see him!

Uncle Chris came with gifts, too.  Josiah got two Lego sets!

Ethan got two new games for his LeapPad!

Uncle Chris got lots of snuggles for those gifts.  We then spent the morning playing games!

We all enjoyed playing Air Hockey, Pool, & Foosball downstairs.

After lunch, we decided to do a little shopping.

We started our shopping at The Incredible Christmas Place!

It was a little weird listening to Christmas music & seeing everything decorated like Christmas in July with our shorts on, but it was still fun to shop!

Then we went school shopping for Josiah.  My guys apparently love to model!  Hot stuff!

After more shopping & some dinner, we went back to the cabin just in time for the Dollywood fireworks show.  We can see Dollywood from the deck of our cabin.

It was a perfect ending to a fun day!

Vacation Day One!

It's Vacation Time!

My sweet parents planned & paid for a trip for our whole family to come to Pigeon Forge to join them for a few days of vacation.  Chris is even coming from D.C.  So, we headed to Pigeon Forge a little early in the day to have some family time before everyone else arrived.

The one thing Josiah wanted to do before school starts, was to go to Splash Country for the very first time.  So, I've been selling items for weeks & got enough money together to go.  We all had such a great time there!  As we were leaving, it started to thunder.  The Splash Country people then gave us free passes to come again in the future.  Yahoo!  God is good!  So, Josiah not only got to go to Splash Country one time before school, but he'll get to go twice!

After Splash Country, we headed to the cabin to meet Granddaddy & Grandma!

They, of course, welcomed the boys with presents!

Josiah got a cool Star Wars Lego Set!

Ethan got a "Blaze & the Monster Machines" t-shirt & 2 of their die cast trucks!

We are all excited for a good week together playing & relaxing at the cabin!

VBS 2015 Day Five!

The kids at our church have had a great week at VBS with "The Lads!"

Tonight was family night & our whole family went.  Josiah got to go on stage with his friends to lead everyone in a song!  He loved that!

We all had a great time dancing & singing!

After service was over, we went outside for a VBS block party!

They had awesome bouncy houses!

They served snow cones & cotton candy!  Yum!!

They even let us throw balls to spray down Officer Gary!  Ethan sprayed him!

They boys especially loved the obstacle course bouncy house.

They acted like they were on American Ninja Warrior.

Josiah was a sweet older brother letting his younger brother beat him on the obstacle course.  What a sweetheart!  Our whole family had a great time at VBS 2015 Day Five!

Tonight was fun at church.
