Goodbye Summer Break!

Today is the last day of summer break for Josiah.  He is both excited about starting school & sad about summer ending.  He has enjoyed the adventures & the laziness.

We spent the day hanging out as a family around the house.  We ended the day by having family movie night while eating dinner in the living room.  We even had brownies & ice cream to make the night extra sweet.  Goodbye Summer Break!

Back 2 School Blessing!

Today was our annual Back to School Blessing at church.  Every school aged student in our church comes on stage during both services to be prayed over for the new school year.

The above pictures are all of the children at the 11am service.  Our sweet Josiah was one of these children.  We are so thankful for a church that prays over our children.  Please help us pray over Josiah as he enters the 4th grade this week.

Fun with Luke!

Luke came over today to play with Josiah!

They had a great time & did a little bit of everything, but mostly played with Legos. 

Ethan had a good time playing on the trampoline with the sprinkler spraying on it while the big boys were playing with Legos.  He really loved that!  All three boys had fun!

Meet & Greet!

It's that time of year again...school is about to start back.

We went to Josiah's school for the annual teacher/student "Meet & Greet."

Josiah's teachers seem really nice.  I can't believe he is going into the 4th Grade.  Time really does go by too fast.  Our family had a good time at the meet & greet!

Last Day of Vacation!

Today was our last day on vacation for the week.

We spent the day relaxing at home & ended the night with brownies & ice cream!  What a wonderful week we've had with all of our family!  It was much needed!  Thanks to Granddaddy, Grandma, & Chris for making it happen.  We had a great time!

Vacation Day Five!

This morning, we got up & said our goodbyes to Granddaddy, Grandma, & Chris!

Today is the day everyone heads back to their own homes.

We decided to use our free passes to Splash Country before we went home.

The boys were very excited about day two at Splash Country!

We had a great time riding the rides, playing in the water, & we hit every single ride & place in the entire park.  Yahoo!  What a fun week we've had!

Vacation Day Four!

Another gorgeous morning view!  The sky was so blue today!

We began our day by chilling in the hot tub.  I think everyone's legs were hurting after all the walking, riding, & playing we did yesterday at NASCAR Speedpark.  So, we decided to just chill around the cabin today & relax.

It was so nice to have nothing to do.  We had hot tub time, peaceful reading on the deck,

games in the game room,

& board games in the dining room.

It was so nice to just relax & have a few laughs!

After a delicious dinner, we played more games &

went back out in the hot tub.

When it got dark & a beautiful full moon came out, we enjoyed fireworks from the hot tub!

What a beautiful way to spend our last night at the cabin!
