Josiah's 1st Soccer Game!

Josiah is back on the soccer field today for his first game of the season!

He (& Ethan) were excited to get back out on the field.  Josiah is especially excited to be on the same team as his friend, Luke.  They look awesome in their jerseys!

Josiah played so well today.  He had some moves I didn't even know he knew how to do.

We are so proud of the talent & effort he put forth today.  He was awesome!

It was a tough game.  The teams were pretty evenly matched.  The game ended in a tie 2-2.  We'll take a tie.  It was such a fun game to watch.  We all enjoyed Josiah's 1st Soccer Game!

Fun with Jackson!

Today was Picture Day at school, so Jackson & Josiah decided to have a stylish playdate!

These two were in class together last year, but aren't this year.  So, they needed to get together after school to play together.  They had a great time & looked great, too!

They played soccer, on the trampoline, & video games.  Josiah always has fun with Jackson!

Josiah & Ethan received a surprise box in the mail today from Uncle Chris!

Uncle Chris sent "Happy Back to School & Happy Fall Cookies" to the boys.  Once again, they are "Cheryl's" famous cookies.  They are super yummy!

Ethan & Josiah both chose Double Chocolate cookies.

They were Yum-o-licious!  Thanks, Uncle Chris!

Big Boy!

Ok...I admit it.  I've been trying really hard to keep my baby...a baby...but he is really ready to start growing up now & I guess I have to let him.

He informed me last night that he wants to start using adult bowls, spoons & glasses to eat from.  He was so excited this morning to be like a big boy!

We had fun today with these two crazy ladies.  Ethan & I went to play with Naomi & Joscelyn.

We all had a great time playing, talking, & eating together.

The Haward family had us & some other friends over for a cookout!

We love getting to hang out with our friends.

The kids enjoyed the food & the ice cream.

The adults really enjoyed the time to talk with each other.

The men & kids even played a game of football

while the women relaxed on the deck by candlelight!  We had such a great time.  Thank you to the Haward family for hosting us all.  Happy Labor Day!

Soccer Time Again!

Today was Josiah's first day back at soccer!  He is so excited to start another soccer season.

He had his first soccer practice of the season tonight with his new team.  We are all happy to have the same coaches again & he even found out that he has several friends from school on his team.  We are all so excited that it's soccer time again!

Cultivate Service!

Dustin preached in our church's Cultivate service this morning.  It was a very inspirational Word for me.  I was even challenged to step out & share part of my testimony at the end of service.  It was a beautiful day.  Thank you, Dustin, for your obedience to the Lord.

Happy Puzzle Boy!

Ethan had a great time doing puzzles this afternoon.  He always likes to play with his easy wooden puzzles, but today wanted to try a jigsaw puzzle for the first time.  He loved it!  Once he did one, he needed to keep going until he did four Cars puzzles.  He is a happy puzzle boy!
