Sometimes God Says "No!"

Dustin preached in the Cultivate service today at church.  He spoke from 2 Corinthians 12 reminding us that sometimes God says "No" in our walk with Him.  He encouraged us to stop complaining & start praising in those difficult moments.  I'm so thankful to Dustin who brought such a meaningful & challenging Word.  I'm thankful for him as an amazing leader, not only to our family, but also to our church.

Josiah's 5th Soccer Game!

Today was Josiah's 5th Soccer Game of the Season.  If you can tell from the picture, Josiah made a great pass today through the opposing team to his teammate.  He did awesome today.

Ethan had a lot of fun at today's game, too.  He played with Aaron & Naomi Haward while watching their big brothers play soccer!

7th Soccer Practice!

Josiah had his 7th Soccer Practice tonight & did a great job!

Straight A's!

Josiah received his Report Card at school today & I just had to share.

This is by far been the toughest school year Josiah has had yet, but he managed to get Straight A's. We are so proud of him for his hard work & effort every year he's been in school, but the Straight A's mean a little more when it's really hard to earn.  Good for you, Josiah!

Thanks Shine Family!

We had dinner on Friday night at the Shine house.  Eric & Audrey have two boys of their own & had tons of toys they had outgrown that they thought Ethan would enjoy.

For the past two days, Ethan has not been able to stop playing with their toys.  It so cute!  He just loves every single thing they gave him.  Thanks Shine Family!

Josiah's 4th Soccer Game!

Today was Josiah's 4th Soccer Game of the Season.

They started the day by taking team pictures.

They then played their hearts out against a very tough team.

We have a very talented team, but they all seem to get nervous when they get the ball to the goal & can't quite get it in.  They played hard, though.  I'm so proud of our Josiah for giving it his all every week on the field.

6th Soccer Practice!

Josiah had his 6th Soccer Practice tonight!

He played Goalie most of the practice & did very well!

Sooooo Sweet!

Ethan's long awaited Pillow Pets came in the mail today!!

He ordered a Mama Kangaroo Pillow Pet with a baby Pillow Pet in her pouch.  He named the Mama, "Kanga" & he named the baby, "Roo."  Too sweet!  He was so happy!

He slept all night holding on tight to Roo.  He thinks Roo is "SOOOOOO Sweet!"

Pullen Park!

We spent the day today at Pullen Park.  This has been a family favorite since I was born!

We had such a great day at Pullen Park & enjoyed so many fun things. Enjoy!

We have had such a fun weekend at Granddaddy & Grandma's house.  We wish we didn't have to leave tomorrow, but we do.  What a fun time with family!
