Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas!

We began this very special morning by reading the rest of the Biblical story of Christmas.  We read about the Wise Men & how they gave Jesus 3 gifts for his birth.

In honor of Jesus' birth, we give our boys 3 gifts for Christmas.  There are only 2 gifts pictured here, though.  That's because their big gift will be brought in after they open these two.

Their first gifts were light up automatic weapons.  Haha!  Toy guns!

Their second gifts were Playmobil pirate sets.

Their third gifts were brand new bikes.

We had the boys leave the room while we wheeled them in. They were so excited!

Here are their three Christmas gifts from us.

After they opened their gifts from us, they exchanged with each other.  Ethan gave Josiah a Star Wars Lego set.  Josiah gave Ethan two cars from the movie, "Cars."

Dustin & I then exchanged presents with each other.

We gave each other a movie & a book.  Our favorite things to do!!

Once our little family was done exchanging, the boys gave their Granddaddy & Grandma a present!  They gave Granddaddy & Grandma a silver frame with a picture of the four of them in it!

Now it was time for more adult Christmas gifts.  So, the boys got to play with their toy again!

On Christmas Day, we exchange gifts with Dad & Mom.  Here are the gifts we gave them!

Here are some of Chris' gifts from Dad & Mom.

We each had such a beautiful stack of presents to open.

Here are a few of Mom's gifts from Chris.

After we were finished exchanging gifts, it was stocking time.
Dustin & I gave each other candy.

Here are the goodies we gave Ethan in his stocking.

Once all the Christmas gift giving was over, Chris gave Dustin early birthday gifts.

Then, Granddaddy & Grandma gave Dustin early birthday presents.

Once all of the presents were opened, put away, & cleaned up, it was time to feast.

Here is our family of four.

Here is the Moody clan + the grand-babies!

Here are the grands with each other & me with my big bro!

The feast was amazing.  Once again, Grandma totally outdid herself.

Some gangstas interrupted our feast, though, & used my nice Christmas napkins.

Then it was time to wish Jesus a Happy Birthday.  We put 7 candles (holy #) on Jesus' birthday cake & sang "Happy Birthday" to him.  The boys love this tradition!

By the end of the day, Josiah had completed his Lego Space Needle & his Lego Seahawks football field.  They look awesome in his new Seahawks bedroom.  So cool!

What a wonderful Christmas.  We are so thankful for the beautiful gift of Jesus Christ to the world.  We love celebrating his birthday every year.  We enjoy getting together with family to honor this special day.  Happy Birthday, Jesus!  Merry Christmas!
