Today was Josiah's 1st full day of Preschool. Last Thursday he went for about 2 hours & the parents had a brunch across the hall. Today is the day he stays the entire 3 hours without his parents. He was SOOOOOOO excited!!! So were we.
This is Josiah walking down the stairs towards his classroom.
This is Dustin helping Josiah hang his backpack on his hook.
Teacher Nicky had toys out on the tables for the kids to play with before school began. He chose the table with animals. Josiah really likes animals.
Me & Josiah saying our goodbyes.
No tears from either of us! YES!!! I never wanted to be one of those parents who babbles all the way out of the classroom. I saw that so much while I was teaching Kindergarten. Emotional parents cause emotional children. Josiah was one of the few happy & content children. His teacher commented that she can tell he trusts us immensely by his confidence & lack of fear. YEAH!!!!!
After school was over, Josiah couldn't stop talking about preschool. He was so excited & ready to go back again. We told him he had to wait for two more days.
To celebrate, we treated Josiah with lunch at McDonald's.
Here we are making our walrus tusks out of french fries. How cute!
What a great 1st full day of Preschool!!
