Meet & Greet!

Tonight we went to the Parent Meet & Greet at Josiah's school.  We met his wonderful 2nd grade teacher, Mrs. Shanks.  We've heard nothing but wonderful things about her & she seemed really sweet.  We were also thrilled to find out that Josiah is in class with some of his closest friends.  Pictured above is his friend, Richard.  They were in Kindergarten together & have remained friends.  Also in his class is his closest school friend, Zack.  This will be their third year in class together along with Maushmi & Ainsley, too.

After meeting his teacher, we all went outside for a school BBQ.  The food was delicious & the company was great.  We hung out with our good friends, the Hawards from church & school.  We also spent some time with our neighbors who's son starts Kindergarten this year.  Josiah is pretty excited for the first day after such a fun night at the Meet & Greet.
