Today was a special day. Pastor Jonathan texted these pictures to our family all the way from Guatemala. These pictures are of our church's mission group passing out toys to children who live in a garbage dump there in Guatemala. These children don't have any toys. They spend their days living & playing in a garbage dump. Dustin & Josiah visited this dump last summer & were forever changed by it. When Josiah came home from Guatemala, he told us he wanted to pack up as many toys as he could to give to those children the next time our church people go. Josiah packed a good size box of toys & sent it with Pastor Jonathan to Guatemala this summer. The toys you see in these pictures used to belong to our Josiah. They were now being passed out to the children in the garbage dump & bringing joy to their faces. For some, this is their very first toy. God is good!
Our family is forever changed by the love we have for those people in Guatemala!
