E is for Eskimo!

Today we finished learning the letter E. After we finished learning, we made an Eskimo. Josiah enjoyed this craft because he got to make a mess with glitter.

Look at his cute Eskimo & his cute face!

HSCC Game Night!

Tonight was Holy Seed Community Church Game Night!

We had such a good time. We had all kinds of food, dessert & games.

The kids just had the BEST time. They stayed downstairs & ate, played games & watched "Cars."

Upstairs, the adults got into the serious game of Yahtzee. Dustin & Mike were taking this game very seriously. Ha! I love their faces.

The kids decided they had enough game playing & it was time to find some loot. They dressed as pirates & ate EVERY brownie in the house.

We had a great time having everyone over for HSCC game night!

Dirt Cake!

This week Josiah & I reviewed the letters C & D.

What better way to finish a week of C & D, than to make a Dirt Cake.

At first, the thought of making a Dirt Cake was not very appealing to Josiah. But once he figured out the "dirt" was actually Oreos, he didn't mind one bit. He really enjoyed grinding those Oreos down to dirt.

Josiah is becoming quite the chef. He LOVES to cook & is really good at it.

Here is Josiah layering the dirt cake. As you can see he is putting the pudding mixture on top of a layer of "dirt" in this picture.

The finished product was Delicious!!!!

Who would have thought we'd have so much fun making Dirt Cake!?!?

Happy Father's Day, Dustin!

Today is Father's Day!

We began our day by giving Dustin our cards. Josiah even drew a few pictures & we painted his footprints as a keepsake for Daddy.

Here are the cards Dustin received. One from me, one from my brother Chris, & one from Josiah.

We then had Cinnamon Muffins & fruit for breakfast before church.

Once people began arriving for church, we snagged one of them to take a family picture for us.

Then, Josiah really wanted to take a silly picture. So, we did.

After church, we took Dustin to The Cheesecake Factory for lunch. While we were waiting, we called our Dads to wish them a Happy Father's Day, too. We weren't able to be with either of our Dads today, but wanted them to know we love them dearly.

Dustin wanted to go to Snoqualmie Falls after lunch.

He hasn't been to Snoqualmie Falls in years. Josiah & I have never been. Josiah was so excited to see Snoqualmie Falls with his Daddy. Aren't they so sweet!?!?

It was raining a little while we were there, but the sight was still beautiful.

We all throughly enjoyed seeing this beautiful wonder.

After we saw the falls, we headed to Coldstone Creamy to bring some dessert home for family movie night. Josiah chose "Alvin & the Chipmunks: the Squeakquel" as the Father's Day pick. We watched the movie & enjoyed our yummy ice cream.

We all had a fabulous day. What a wonderful way for Josiah to celebrate his goofy Dad.

Happy Father's Day, Dustin!

Bb Fun!

The past three days we've been reviewing the letter Bb.

I hid Bb stuff in the living room & Josiah went on a Bb Hunt. He loves running around finding all of this stuff.

Here are some of the Bb things he found.

After we finished working on the letter Bb, Josiah made a Bead Bracelet.

He had such a great time making his Bracelet.

We had such a great time having Bb Fun!

Toy Story 3!

Today was Josiah's reward day for finishing preschool. He's been counting down the days all week to get to go see "Toy Story 3."

Josiah wore his Toy Story t-shirt & underwear today.

He even got Buzz & Woody out to tag along for the ride.

My two guys were pumped about seeing the movie.

Josiah even won certificates for free concessions. He chose popcorn & M&Ms.

He was so cute in his 3-D glasses eating his popcorn & candy.

He wanted to wear his 3-D glasses home & see if things popped out at him. Ha! He is also pretending to be "Spanish speaking Buzz" here after the movie. He LOVED that scene.

After the movie, we had some lunch at Red Robin. Josiah & Dustin were pretending to be Lotso, the bad guy from Toy Story 3.

They pretended & talked about the movie all during lunch. The movie was so good. It is my favorite of the three so far.

I think Josiah has a new favorite movie...Toy Story 3!

Bothell Country Village!

Today Josiah & I met some friends for a play-date at Bothell Country Village. As soon as I opened Josiah's car door, we heard, "Cock-a-Doodle-Doo!" Josiah eyes opened SOOOO wide. He ran around the parking lot until we found the rooster. Little did we know they were EVERYWHERE. Josiah was obsessed with chasing & staring at them.

I finally pulled Josiah away from the roosters to go meet our friends at the coffee shop. They had such a fun time playing in this coffee shopped designed for moms with small kids.

After we left the coffee shop, we fed the ducks &

played on the playground.

To end our journey at Bothell Country Village, we rode the train.

Josiah loves riding on trains.

It's a train on wheels, pulled by a tractor, but Josiah didn't care. He loved it anyway.

This picture perfectly depicts the fun & crazy time we had with Isaac & Alyssa at Bothell Country Village!
