Josiah's 5th Birthday Party!

Today we celebrated Josiah's 5th Birthday Toy Story style.

We decorated the kitchen this morning & Josiah was so excited.

He loved seeing me take his cake out of the box.

We had his cake decorated like Andy's room from Toy Story with Woody, Buzz, Legos, a jump rope, Andy's bedroom rug & his hardwood floors.

We took everything out of the playroom & only put Toy Story toys in the room for the kids. We also put two kid tables with Toy Story coloring sheets & crayons. We played Toy Story 2 on the TV in the playroom & Toy Story 1 on the TV in the living room. On the counter in the kitchen, we served cake & ice cream.

We set out drinks for everyone & goody bags for the kids to enjoy.

At 10:30am the party guests began arriving. The kids ran straight for the playroom to color, play & watch the movie. The adults headed straight for the kitchen to enjoy their morning cup of coffee & chat.

After we all played & talked for a while, we gathered in the kitchen. Dustin led the group in a prayer of blessing over Josiah. We all then chimed in & sang "Happy Birthday" to my sweet boy. He loved it & then blew out his candles.

The cake was DELICIOUS! This was the quietest time of the whole party. The kids were enjoying their food & didn't make a sound.

After cake & ice cream, we went into the living room to open some presents. The kids all gathered around Josiah & were so excited to watch.

Uncle Chris sent some presents for Josiah's party...some big presents!

After present time, we ran outside to play for a while. The kids had the best time taking turns on the trampoline my parents gave Josiah for an early birthday present & playing on the swingset. No matter what the weather, kids love to play in our yard.

We feel so blessed to have such wonderful friends to share such a special occasion with. We all had a great time at Josiah's 5th Birthday Party!
